Quick Start

Requirements

• Server Administrator or Manage Server permission
• AutoRole bot in your server — Invite AutoRole

Step 1 – Invite the bot

Click the invite link above and grant the Manage Roles permission when prompted.

Step 2 – Set the bot role position

In Server Settings → Roles, drag the AutoRole bot role above any role you want it to manage. Discord requires a bot’s own role to sit above the target role in the hierarchy.

Step 3 – Configure Auto Role

Run /setup and select the role to assign to new members:

/setup role:@MemberRole

That’s it. Every new member will automatically receive the role on join.

Verify it works

Run /list to see all active auto roles:

/list

Tip: Use /stats to see the total number of roles AutoRole has assigned.
